Terms & Conditions for Event Submission

By submitting an event to the iDREAM Community Events Calendar (“Calendar”), you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Eligibility to Submit

Event submissions are accepted from the following individuals or organizations:

iDREAM Awards applicants (current or past)

iDREAM partners and sponsors

iDREAM team members, volunteers, board members, and advisors

Collaborators, community organizations, or third parties with explicit authorization from the event organizer to promote and share the event

By submitting an event, you confirm that you meet one of the eligibility criteria above and are authorized to submit the event for public promotion.

2. Rights & Authorization

You confirm that you are the event organizer or an authorized representative of the organizer and that you have the legal right to submit, promote, and distribute all event details, images, logos, links, and materials provided (“Submission Materials”).

3. Accuracy of Information

You agree that all information submitted is accurate, current, and complete, including event dates, times, locations, ticketing details, accessibility information, and any applicable terms of attendance. iDREAM is not responsible for errors, omissions, or changes to submitted events.

4. Use of Submitted Materials

By submitting an event, you grant iDREAM a non-exclusive, royalty-free, revocable license to publish, display, and edit the Submission Materials for clarity or length, and to promote the event across iDREAM-owned platforms, including but not limited to the community events calendar, website, newsletters, and social media channels, solely for community awareness and promotional purposes.

5. Editorial Discretion

All event submissions are subject to review and approval by iDREAM. iDREAM reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to approve, decline, edit, remove, or reschedule any event listing without notice, including submissions that do not align with iDREAM’s mission, values, or community standards.

6. Alignment with iDREAM Values

Submitted events must align with iDREAM’s commitment to inclusivity, equity, diversity, and respectful community engagement. Events that promote discrimination, hate, harassment, or harmful or exclusionary practices will not be approved.

7. No Endorsement or Liability

Inclusion of an event on the Calendar does not imply endorsement, sponsorship, or partnership by iDREAM. iDREAM does not organize, host, or control third-party events and is not responsible for the planning, execution, safety, legality, or outcomes of any listed event.

8. Event Changes or Cancellations

You are responsible for notifying iDREAM of any changes, postponements, or cancellations in a timely manner. iDREAM is not liable for losses, damages, or confusion resulting from event changes not communicated to the iDREAM team.

9. Removal of Events

iDREAM reserves the right to remove an event from the Calendar at any time if the information becomes inaccurate, misleading, outdated, or if the event no longer aligns with iDREAM’s values, eligibility criteria, or community guidelines.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless iDREAM, its directors, officers, employees, volunteers, and partners from any claims, damages, liabilities, or expenses arising from your event, your submission, or your breach of these Terms & Conditions.

11. Acceptance of Terms

By submitting an event, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
