Am I eligible?

Let’s start with the basics. To apply for the iDREAM Media Award you must:

Be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident
Be at least 18 years of age or obtain and share parental consent
Provide proof of the nominations practice in Canada for at least 1 year
Include an English language version of your submission

Before I start, what should I prepare?

Set aside 10 minutes to complete your online submission which will include the following:

Online Application Form

Short Essay describing your dream (max 3000 characters)

Accessible Video Link to a video summarizing your submission (2-3 minutes max)

Who should apply?

Anyone that meets the criteria above who feels their nomination is ready for, and deserving of this body of support.
Individual and group submissions are permitted
Nominations made by self are permitted
Nominations made by businesses/organizations are permitted

What is the value of each award?

1 Million CAD in media advertising space + the cost of planning the campaign

How many applications do you accept?

500 max

How many times can I apply?

1 time per category

What is the cost to apply?

Zero cost to apply

Can I register now and apply later?

Yes, you can register today to reserve your application position, then update your final application up until January 15th, 2025.

Is the grant the same as the award?

Yes, there are 5 awards available this year
