DESCRIPTION:When Sisters Speak is North America’s largest and longest running annual showcase of Black female spoken word artists. Founded by recent Order of Ontario appointee\, Dwayne Morgan\, When Sisters Speak shines the spotlight on six Black women\, who utilize the spoken word to share stories of life\, as they have lived and experienced it. \nThe 26th edition of the show will feature performers from Toronto\, Ottawa\, Chicago\, Hamilton\, and Texas \nWhen Sisters Speak is not the poetry you studied in school\, but rather a soul stirring experience that will take you on a roller coaster of emotions.

DESCRIPTION:Why does Canadian marketing (with a few notable exceptions) struggle to authentically connect with Canadians? \nOur hypothesis: In a Canada that is more diverse than ever\, we lack an authentic\, truly inclusive understanding of who a Canadian is today. \nWe are looking for Hackathon contestants (BIPOC or allies) who will help us fix that at our upcoming APGxPOCAM Inclusion Hackathon on March 4th\, 2026. \nFor anyone passionate about #inclusion and #strategy\, this is a really cool team contest event with awesome exposure—our last hackathon was covered by Strategy Online\, WARC\, Campaign Canada and New Canadian Media. We have a panel of truly inspiring judges. And oh\, yes\, a cash prize for the winning team. \nSo. Raise your hand. Raise your voice.
